Who are we?

Beards n Brows is a collaboration between Schavine Schnauzers and Jarelan Schnauzers.

It all started a number of years ago when my sister (Deanne) and I (Jared) both got miniature schnauzers, having already had one in the past we knew a bit about the breed, personality traits, and how to care for them. Deanne’s first schnauzer lived till she was 16 years of age.

Since then our love for this breed has grown to the point of what some would consider an obsession, we care for our dogs like they are our children.

The result? Well this website for starters, that and now using our knowledge and love for miniature schnauzers to breed happy, healthy companions.

Apart from the breeding aspect of this collaboration we also are wanting to create a space to come and learn about schnauzers, how to train, feed and care for the little guys.

Healthy Breeding

To make sure our pups have the best start in life, and before any breading occurs both parents are DNA profiled. This is completed for disease markers and to rule out against serious inherited disease.

Their health and happiness is always put first, and we make sure they have

  • regular vet checks, vaccinations and worming
  • We believe in early training to help with the transition into the family
  • A diet that meets the requirements of the breed
  • Exercised and played with every day
  • Most importantly loved like they are our own.

When you adopt a puppy you receive a puppy care package, samples of food, and ongoing support from us to make sure the transition goes smoothly.
